‘Bulong’ Hits P33.26 Million in 1st Five Days

The first movie offering of Star Cinema and also considered as the 1st Philippine movie premiere for 2011, ‘Bulong’ starring Vhong Navarro and Angelica Panganiban earns P33.26 Million on its 1st Five Days run from 90 theaters nationwide. 

he latest figure came from third party tabulator Box Office Mojo from February 2–6, 2011 and based only from 90 major movie theaters in the country which means around 15 - 25 theaters in the provinces were not yet accounted for.

‘Bulong’ top the local box office last weekend defeating its rival international films “Tangled”, “The Rite”, “Burlesque” and “The Warrior’s Way”. To see the full figures, click HERE. We can conclude now that ‘Bulong’ is a certified-box office hit which a good sign this 2011 for Filipino Films.
