Hindi na lingid sa karamihan na sa mga lumalabas na TV Ratings sa mga nakaraang linggo, ang mga afternoon Series ng GMA-7 kagaya ng Koreana at Temptaion of Wife ang naghahari sa afternoon timeslot mapa-Mega Manila man at National TV ratings. 

Sa paparating na lunes ay magbubukas ang bagong kabanata ng Precious Hearts RomancesPresents Mana Po na tinatampukan ng tambalang Melai Cantiveros at Jason Francisco o mas kilala sa love team name na MELASON. Comedy-Romance ang tema ng bagong afternoon series ng ABS-CBN. Pinapalabas na ang trailer ng nasabing new afternoon series at mukhang malaki ang potensyal niito para sa mga manonood dahil bago ito sa afternoon habit ng panlasang Pilipino dahil may halo ito comedy at kilig at di tulad ng mga naunang afternoon series, mapa-Kapamilya man o Kapuso na ang karaniwang tema ay heavy drama. Ang tambalang MELASON na kaya ang magsasalba sa afternoon block ng Kapamilya Network? Ano sa tingin mo?

Kabilang rin sa Mana po sila Tom Rodriguez, RR Enriquez, Giselle Sanchez, and Buboy Garovillo. Ito ay dinirek nila Erick Salud and Katski Flores. Mana Po sa Lunes na! Papanoorin mo ba ito?

Upcoming Movies from Star Cinema this 2011

after Bulong the Comedy Horror starring Vhong Navarro and Angelica Panganiban was Star Cinema’s first movie this2011. As of February 13, Sunday, the horror-comedy has grossed P52.46 Million on its 2nd week run.

The 2nd movie offering of Star Cinema (together with Viva Films) this year is a romantic-comedy filmstarring Gerald Anderson and Sarah Geronimo. Other cast includes Matteo Guidicelli, Christopher De Leon, Joey Marquez and Dawn Zuleta. The film will be premiered next month.

‘Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin’ Full Trailer Released

‘Bulong’ Hits P33.26 Million in 1st Five Days

The first movie offering of Star Cinema and also considered as the 1st Philippine movie premiere for 2011, ‘Bulong’ starring Vhong Navarro and Angelica Panganiban earns P33.26 Million on its 1st Five Days run from 90 theaters nationwide. 

he latest figure came from third party tabulator Box Office Mojo from February 2–6, 2011 and based only from 90 major movie theaters in the country which means around 15 - 25 theaters in the provinces were not yet accounted for.

‘Bulong’ top the local box office last weekend defeating its rival international films “Tangled”, “The Rite”, “Burlesque” and “The Warrior’s Way”. To see the full figures, click HERE. We can conclude now that ‘Bulong’ is a certified-box office hit which a good sign this 2011 for Filipino Films.

A first look at GMA 7 New Afternoon Soap Opera, ‘Nita Negrita"

After we hooked up to the charm of a Koreana, another girl will knock in our afternoon TV habits in the presence of ‘Nita Negrita’ to be portrayed by Barbie Forteza.

Nita Negrita is an upcoming afternoon drama of GMA Network replacing Koreana that schedule to end this upcoming week.
 

Members of its cast include Lexi Fernandez (the daughter of veteran actress Maritoni Fernandez) as Misty, Joshua Dionisio as Prince, Carmina Villaroel as Mitos, Mayton Evangelista as Farrah, Diana Zubiri as Sofia and Bubbles Paraiso as Dianne. Also in the cast is the new Kapuso member,veteran-comedian actress Ms. Nova Villa and talented singer Ms. Rachelle Ann Go. Ms. Nova will play the role of Lola Nora while Rachelle will play the role of Cheska. This will be considered as the first full-length show of Ms. Nova as Kapuso while it’s the 2nd acting project of Rachelle after Diva

It will be a tough challenge for Barbie and the rest of the cast to match the huge success of “Koreana” which has been a hit not only in Mega Manila but also in the nationwide TV ratings of Kantar Media.
